Genghis Khan - a tribute

This noble king.was called Genghis Khan.

who in his time was of so great renown, 

That there was.Nowhere in no region. 

So excellent a lord in all things.

He lacked nothing.That belongs to a king.

As of the sect of which he  was born.

He kept his law to which, he was born.

And thereto, he was hardy, wise and rich

And piteous and just, always liked; 

Soothe of his word, benign, and honourable.

Of his courage as any centre stable

Young, fresh and strong in arms desirous

As any bachelor of all his house

A person he was and fortunate

And kept always  so well estate

That there was nowhere such another man

चंगेज़ खान था नाम उस कुलीन सम्राट का

अपने समय का प्रसिद्ध था नाम जिस का

पूरे विश्व में वह तो बेमिसाल था

सभी बातों में वह बाकमाल था

ऐसा कुछ नहीं जो उस के पास नहीं था

जिस कबीले में हुआ था जन्म उस का

उस के कानून का सदैव पालन किया

दृढ़, बुद्धिमान और प्रभुतासम्पन्न था

रहमदिल था इस लिये सब को पसंद था

बोलने में मधुर, सौम्य, और प्रतिष्ठित

नहीं किसी कसर में थी उस की हिम्मत

युवा, निर्मल, और बाज़ुओं में ताकत

जैसे उस परिवार के थे सभी षख्स

क्या शख्स था और क्य भाग्यषाली

उस की हकूमत में थी खुशहाली

नहीं होगा ज़माने में उस जैसा इंसान

गौवरशाली तातार सम्राट चंगेज़ खान
