waste?
waste?
so called ratinalists (respectable name for athiests and hindu baiters) keep on asking why should we offer food and other delicacies to the gods. after all they are niralaar (formless) of just stone idols. they cannot consume it.
to them i would ask a qyestion – have you ever seen food rotting in front of the idols? have you ever seen it rotting just outside the temple (or whee the idols are). the answer will be pure negative. but then they will argue that the pujaries eat it up.
right. so it does not go waste. somebody does consume it. food is meant for that oprupose. after all the pujaries also have to exist. they do some service to worshippers and they receive compensation for it. do the rationalist eat? they do . they need it. so do the temple servants. there is no waste.
